TFG contracted with the City of Lincoln-Parks and Recreation Department in Lincoln, Nebraska, to develop a plan for the Upper Little Salt Creek saline wetlands near Lincoln to evaluate the unique environmental resource and provide recommendations for future planning and project development. In summary, the plan:
- Employed spatial analysis methodology to evaluate existing watershed characteristics
- Identified land management, restoration, and conservation goals of the watershed area
- Engaged the Saline Wetlands Conservation Partnership in a process of thinking about the area’s future planning and project development
