GIS & Database Management

The database management service line includes developing and supporting client side data management software; creating, maintaining and customizing Geographic Information System (GIS) software; and developing software tools to analyze data both numerically and spatially. To maximize the usefulness of these types of systems, TFG focuses on maintaining the accuracy and completeness of evolving, active datasets used by these tools.

For automated datasets, TFG personnel have supported projects using remote data collection and transmission from field equipment, as well as over-night batch updates.

TFG can also set up and manage secure websites for large-scale data exchanges.
