Mr. Riley is a Civil Engineer with experience in water resources engineering and environmental restoration design and has an extensive background in managing large inter-disciplinary projects. Mr. Riley is a registered engineer licensed to practice in Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri and South Dakota. He is a senior engineer/project manager and has managed various projects addressing water resources planning and engineering including flood control projects, hydrologic analyses, hydraulic structure evaluation and design, and wetland and lake restoration design. He has managed a wide range of natural resources projects using teams of water resources specialists, engineers, biologists, construction inspectors, geologists, and scientists. Mr. Riley is regularly consulted for his hydrologic and hydraulic expertise by Lincoln’s consulting community. His reputation for thoughtful and thorough analyses and solutions has brought him respect among his clients and peers. Over the last five years, Mr. Riley has managed multi-million dollar water resource projects involving scientific experts from around the nation, multiple stream and restoration projects, and floodplain and dam breach mapping. He was recently the Senior Technical Manager for an interstate water dispute being heard by the Supreme Court.
