Mr. Kracman is a water resources planner with a diverse background in critical water resources disciplines. With experience as a staff member in the United State Senate and as a consultant for key water agencies in California, Mr. Kracman has gained hands-on knowledge of the federal legislative process, and acquired understanding of water planning and policy in one of the most water-dependent states in the country. He is presently assessing current needs in Nebraska for the development of comprehensive integrated resource planning, and monitoring the establishment of integrated management plans (IMPs) in portions of the State. He is also conducting investigations on water supply availability, interstate water compact accounting and administration, and water transfers in Nebraska and other western states.

Outside of work, David enjoys exploring Nebraska by car, eating duck and sauerkraut at local Czech festivals, and keeping up with Husker football.
